PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical boring tool with which a big opening with a large diameter can be formed at an outlet side of the through-hole, while strength of the tool can be secured and the diameter of a small opening at the inlet side can be reduced at the same time.SOLUTION: The surgical boring tool 1 is used for boring the through-hole 60 into a bone with the small opening 61 on the inlet side of the boring and the big opening 62 on the outlet side of the boring. The surgical boring tool includes: a cylindrical shaft 10 having a distal end 10a and a proximal end 10b an shaft-shaped cutter bit 20 turnably pivoted around the distal end 10a of the shaft 10 with a turning axis K almost orthogonal to the axis A10 of the shaft 10, and having a blade 51 for boring the small opening and a blade 52 for boring the big opening and a base member 3 connected to the proximal end 10b of the shaft 10.
