PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of always imaging a clear image by securing, with an extremely simple configuration, airtightness in a hard part of the endoscope, especially airtightness around a lens-barrel holding optical lenses, and allowing a manufacturing lead time to be reduced.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes: a lens-barrel 15 holding optical elements forming an optical image on an imaging face of an imaging device a tubular optical member holder 16 storing the lens-barrel 15 thereinside and a holder cover 65 covering a part of an outer circumference of the optical member holder 16.
