This composition comprises monosaccharides as an active ingredient and at least one of an auxiliary selected from a nonionic surfactant (not including an acetylene glycol-based surfactant, fluorine based surfactant and silicone-based surfactant), an anionic surfactant (not including a lignosulfonate), a cationic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a water-soluble polymer, an amino acid, an amino sugar, a disaccharide alcohol and salts, and is effective as an agricultural control composition against plant disease, in particular, fungal disease and bacterial disease.
