An intravascular valve component (12), comprising: a valve box that includes portions (18, 22) of proximal and distal box joined together, said respective box portions showing fluid ports spaced apart from each other and a fluid passage ( 54, 100) which extends between the ports along a valve shaft when said box portions (18, 22) are joined; and a flexible flow control valve (24) actuated by fluid pressure, arranged along the fluid passage (54, 100) to control the flow of fluid through it, said valve (24) including a central wall (108) valve, essentially dome-shaped, having a slit (116) and an annular flange (106) surrounding the central wall (108) of the valve, said central valve wall (108) having, in dome shape, a concave surface (110a) and a convex surface (110b), said annular flange (106) including a flange wall (118), which extends radially, having a radially outermost edge (122), in wherein the valve (24) is configured to selectively open and close depending on a difference in fluid pressures across the respective concave and convex surfaces, said intravascular valve component (12) being characterized by: a projection (120 ) vá settlement valve extending axially from the flange wall (118) and radially separated outwardly from said valve wall (108) and between said outermost edge (122) and the valve wall (108) to allow said groove flexes between open infusion and aspiration configurations, one of said box portions (18, 22) having an outgoing reception opening (104), said wall (118) of the flange received in a coupled manner between the joined box portions (18, 22), in which the projection receiving opening (104) is formed in a manner complementary to the valve settlement projection (120) to thereby engage the projection (120) within the opening (104) to restrict the radial movement of the flow control valve (24) with respect to the valve housing (18, 22) and to coaxially align the valve (24) with one of the portions (18, 22) of the box presenting the aforementi
