The housing includes a first opening, a combustion chamber, a cylinder, an igniter, a burner, a regulator, and a vent. The combustion chamber includes a double sleeved tube, a perforated mesh sleeve and a second opening. The portable insecticide device of the present invention includes a suitable arrangement in the housing that works with mosquito repellent mat as well as with mosquito repellent liquid. The portable insecticide device of the present invention provides a uniform and damage free heating of a wick.
