The present invention is directed to an apparatus for pumping hemostatic powder having an elongated reservoir with a manual air pump, such as a bellows, at the proximal end and a pumping port at the distal end. The porous filter is slidably disposed between the bellows and plunger in the reservoir and the pressure port, and the spring is disposed between the air pump and plunger in the reservoir.
