A bone clamp for being attached to a bone, the bone clamp comprising a first lever and a second lever which are connected to each other by a connection, a sliding block and a screw, wherein: - the first lever has a first lever arm from a first end of the first lever to the connection and a second lever arm from a second end of the first lever opposite to the first end to the connection, - the second lever has a third lever arm from a first end of the second lever to the connection and a fourth lever arm from a second end of the second lever opposite to the first end to the connection, - the second ends of the two levers are to get in contact with the bone, - the sliding block is slidably attached to the first lever arm, - the screw is pivotably mounted in the sliding block, - the first lever arm comprises a threaded surface for engaging with the screw mounted in the sliding block, and - the sliding block comprises a sliding surface on which the third lever arm slides such that the second ends of the levers approach each other when the sliding block moves along the first lever arm in a predetermined direction.
