A catheter, and preferably a urinary catheter, is disclosed, comprising an elongate shaft (1), an insertable end (2) formed in or connected to one end of the elongate shaft, and a discharge end (5) formed in or connected to the opposite end of the elongate shaft. Further, the catheter further comprises an insertion aid (6) at least partly encircling the discharge end, and being integrally and releasably connected to the discharge end. Hereby, easy production is achieved, and at the same time, the insertion aid may easily be removed for use as an insertion aid when using the catheter.L'invention porte sur un cathéter, et de préférence sur un cathéter urinaire, comprenant une tige allongée (1), une extrémité insérable (2) formée dans une extrémité de la tige allongée ou reliée à celle-ci, et une extrémité d'évacuation (5) formée dans l'extrémité opposée de la tige allongée ou reliée à celle-ci. De plus, le cathéter comprend en outre une aide d'insertion (6) encerclant au moins partiellement l'extrémité d'évacuation et reliée d'un seul tenant et de manière libérable à l'extrémité d'évacuation. Ainsi, une fabrication facile est obtenue, et en même temps, l'aide d'insertion peut facilement être retirée pour être utilisée en tant qu'aide d'insertion lors de l'utilisation du cathéter.
