PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a working site and generate an alert if there are efficiency or safety concerns about a worker or the like.SOLUTION: A system 10 for monitoring environmental conditions includes a wearable device 20 configured to be worn by a worker 14, and one or more environmental sampling sensors configured to monitor the one or more environmental conditions associated with a working environment 12 and determine environmental sampling information on the basis of the monitoring of the one or more environmental conditions. The system 10 further includes a positioning sensor configured to determine positioning information regarding the worker, the positioning information regarding the worker including information on positioning of the worker relative to the working environment.
