The present invention relates to a wire processing device. During surgical suturing operation for a human or an animal and specifically during a cosmetic surgery, when human muscles or skin is sutured, a resistance projection is disposed on an outer circumferential surface of an operation wire, so muscles or skin may be gathered and wrinkles may be removed. A wire processing device according to the present invention automates processing of a resistance projection on a thin thickness operation wire and may uniformly process projection heights, thicknesses, and the like of resistance projections. To achieve a purpose, a wire processing device according to the present invention comprises: a supply unit for supplying a wire； a fixing unit for pulling the wire from the supply unit at a predetermined length, and fixing the wire； and a processing unit including a cutter accessing in a side direction of the fixed wire to partially cut one side surface of the wire in a length direction and process a resistance projection on an outer circumferential surface of the wire. The processing unit comprises: a rotation table having the cutter formed thereon, and rotated on a base based on the wire； and a support member formed on the rotation table, and disposed in a position opposed to a blade of the cutter based on the wire to support the other side surface of the wire.본 발명은 사람이나 동물들의 외과 봉합 수술, 특히 성형 수술 등에서 사람의 근육이나 피부 등을 봉합할 때, 수술용 와이어의 외주면에 저항돌기를 구비하여 근육이나, 피부를 모아주어 주름을 제거하는 수술용 와이어에 있어서, 얇은 두께의 수술용 와이어에 저항돌기가 가공되는 것을 자동화하고, 저항돌기들의 돌출 높이, 두께 등을 균일하게 가공할 수 있는 와이어 가공 장치에 관한 것이다.상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 발명에 따른 와이어 가공 장치는 와이어가 공급되는 공급부； 상기 공급부에서 상기 와이어를 소정 길이까지 잡아당겨 고정시키는 고정부； 고정된 와이어의 측방향에서 접근하여, 와이어의 일측면을 길이방향으로 부분 절개함으로써 와이어의 외주면에 저항돌기를 가공하는 커터를 포함하는 가공부；를 포함하여 이루어지고, 상기 가공부는 상기 커터가 설치되며, 상기 와이어를 중심으로 베이스에서 회전하는 회전 테이블과, 상기 회전 테이블에 설치되되, 상기 와이어를 기준으로 상기 커터의 칼날에 대향하는 위치에 배치되어, 상기 와이어의 타측면을 지지하는 지지부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
