The present invention relates to an automatic tension controlling apparatus for a thermotherapy device, and more specifically, an automatic tension controlling apparatus for a thermotherapy device, comprising: a transport member (10) a driving force transferring member (20), connected to the transport member (10), for transferring driving force to the transport member (10) through a driving means (40) and a tension control means (30), coupled to the transport member (10), for maintaining and controlling the tension of the driving force transferring member.
