It contains an adhesive strip attached on the top of the bandage, the removal of which activates the spring based microfluidic drug chambers. It comprises of spring controlled microfluidic drug chambers, on off valve, three layered or two layered microfluidic channels, stimuli sensitive hydrogel units and a debris collector chamber with auto removal indicator. There are microfluidic channels that restricts the flow of drugs to the wound area by the use of stimuli sensitive hydrogels. There is an on-board herbal battery that provides a low dc current to the wound through conducting microfluidic channels for enhancing the healing of the wounds.
