Polymers prepared from at least three monomers of formulas (I), (II), (III) and (IV) that can be used in pharmaceutical formulations are disclosed herein. Such a polymer comprises a hydrocarbon skeleton and is prepared from a monomer containing at least one carbon-carbon double bond.
