PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic for ultraviolet blocking, allowing young and fresh feeling of the skin when directly applied, smoothly spreading, hardly giving sticky feeling, dry feeling and occlusion feeling after fitted to the skin, and having good spreadability.SOLUTION: A skin cosmetic for ultraviolet blocking is characterized by containing (a) 1 to 13 mass% of a polysilicone microcapsule having an average grain diameter of 0.1 to 10 μm and including an ultraviolet absorber, (b) 0.5 to 10 mass% of a compound shown by the formula (I), and (c) 0.1 to 1 mass% of a carboxyvinyl polymer or an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer.
