PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to KAAG1.SOLUTION: In some embodiments, the antibody of the invention blocks biological activity of KAAG1, and useful in pharmaceutical compositions for treating cancers, more specifically, cancers with increased expression of KAAG1 on the cell surface, such as ovarian, renal, lung, colorectal, breast, brain and prostate cancer as well as melanoma. The invention also relates to cells expressing the monoclonal antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof such as humanized and chimeric antibodies. The invention further discloses methods for detecting and treating cancer using the antibody and a fragment thereof.【課題】ＫＡＡＧ１と特異的に結合する新規モノクローナル抗体を記載する。【解決手段】いくつかの実施形態において、抗体は、ＫＡＡＧ１の生物活性をブロックし、癌、さらに詳細には、卵巣、腎臓、肺、直腸結腸、胸部、脳、及び前立腺癌、並びに黒色腫などのＫＡＡＧ１細胞表面発現が増大した癌において、組成物で有用である。本発明はまた、ヒト化及びキメラ抗体などのモノクローナル抗体及び抗原結合フラグメントを発現する細胞に関する。さらに、抗体及びフラグメントを用いて癌を検出する方法及び癌を治療する方法も開示する。【選択図】図１８Ａ
