An inhaler (10) comprising a housing (11) to receive a strip (14) having a plurality ofblisters (14a), each blister (14a) having a puncturable lid (14c) and containing adose of medicament for inhalation by a user, a mouthpiece (13) through which adose of medicament is inhaled by a user, a cap (12) to cover the mouthpiece (13) anda blister piercing element (16) to pierce the lid (14c) of a blister (14a) is disclosed.The cap (12) is rotatable to drive the strip (14) to sequentially move each blister(14a) into alignment with the blister piercing element (16) and an actuator isoperable in response to rotation of the cap (12) to cause the blister piercingelement (16) to puncture the lid (14c) of an aligned blister (14a) such that, whena user inhales through the mouthpiece (13), an airflow through the blister (14a)is generated to entrain the dose contained therein and carry it out of the blister(14a) and via the mouthpiece into the users airway.
