The step count correcting apparatus (103) corrects the measured step count of the livestock animal (A) according to the weather on the farm (F) when the communications device (101) measured the step count of the livestock animal (A). The step count correcting apparatus (103) transmits to a client apparatus (104) information indicating the post-correction step count.
