The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Pistacia weinmannifolia extract, a fraction of same or a compound separated from same for suppressing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and, more particularly, to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a Pistacia weinmannifolia extract, a fraction of same or a compound separated from same for preventing or treating COPD, to a food composition for preventing or remedying COPD, and to the separated compound. The composition comprising a Pistacia weinmannifolia extract, a fraction of same or a compound separated from same, according to the present invention, is not toxic, suppressed the infiltration of inflammatory cells into the bronchial tube of a COPD-induced animal model, and effectively suppressed the expression of CXCL-1, TNF-α or MIP-2. In addition, by using proven safe medicinal plant as material, the present invention has the advantage of relieving various side effects of existing therapeutic agents for COPD, chronic obstructive bronchitis, chronic bronchiolitis, emphysema, multiple sclerosis and acute and chronic inflammation, and thus can be utilized as a composition for preventing, treating and remedying COPD.La présente invention concerne une composition destinée à supprimer la bronchopneumopathie chronique obstructive (BPCO), comprenant un extrait de Pistacia weinmannifolia, une fraction de celui-ci ou un composé séparé de celui-ci et, plus particulièrement, une composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention ou le traitement de la BPCO, comprenant un extrait de Pistacia weinmannifolia, une fraction de celui-ci ou un composé séparé de celui-ci, et une composition alimentaire pour la prévention de la BPCO ou pour y remédier, et le composé séparé.
