The present invention relates to a hole float for ocean fishing. The hole float for ocean fishing comprises a body which is formed of a buoyant material an outer surface painted with an easily visible fluorescent paint a through-hole through which a fishing line is inserted and a sinker which is disposed inside and has a sinking property that counteracts the buoyancy of the body. The body of the hole float is divided at a 1:3 ratio into an upper part which is aerodynamically shaped and painted with a reddish fluorescent paint and a lower part which is painted with a yellowish fluorescent paint, wherein the through hole through which the fishing line is inserted is formed in a horizontal direction at the boundary between the upper and lower part of the body, an air pocket for buoyancy is formed on the inner side of the lower part of the body, and the sinker is provided in a position that is offset to one side from the center in terms of the lengthwise direction of the lower part of the body. When the hole float, in which the upper and lower parts of the body can be distinguished by the contrasting fluorescent paint applied thereto, has been cast onto the surface of the water, when a fish bites such that, due to the offset position of the sinker inside the lower part of the body, the fishing line is pulled through the through hole, the body itself rolls due to a change in the position of the offset sinker inside the body, and consequently the lower part appears above the water surface.
