PURPOSE: An initial cognitive impairment and dementia evaluation system and a method thereof based on walking and ECG monitoring are provided to evaluate normality or initial cognitive impairment or dementia by using walking characteristics showed up during waling in daily life. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(110) includes an accelerometer, an angular speedometer and electrocardiograph. A storage(120) stores measured data in the sensor unit. An initial cognitive impairment and dementia evaluation system(200) evaluate initial cognitive impairment and dementia based on walking and ECG monitoring using the data stored in the storage. The sensor includes a communication part transmitting measured data in the sensor unit and a data filter filtering the measured data. [Reference numerals] (110) Sensor unit； (120) Storage； (200) Initial cognitive impairment and dementia evaluation system본 발명은 보행과 심전도 모니터링을 통한 초기인지장애와 치매 평가 시스템 및 그 방법에 대한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 휴대용 보행 평가 모듈을 사용해, 보행 변인을 추출하고 초기인지장애(mild cognitive impairment, MCI) 및 치매(Alzheimer's disease, AD)에 따라 변화하는 보행과 심전도 변인의 연구를 통하여 알고리즘화된 보행 인덱스 계산 및 분석으로 초기인지장애와 치매를 평가할 수 있는 보행과 심전도 모니터링을 통한 초기인지장애와 치매 평가 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명은 가속도계와 각속도계와 심전도계를 포함하는 센서부와, 상기 센서부에서 측정된 데이터를 저장하는 저장부와, 상기 저장부에 저장된 데이터를 통해 보행과 심전도 모니터링을 통한 초기인지장애와 치매 평가를 하는 초기인지장애 및 치매 평가 시스템으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
