PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anchor pin for planting having no fear of fall or inclination by wind, snow, etc., and to provide a method for planting a tree using the anchor pin for planting. SOLUTION: This anchor pin for planting comprises a pin body 1, joint bodies 3 for connecting the plural pin bodies, anchor pin bodies 4 which form chevron-shaped engaging parts in a multistage state and inserting parts with pointed tips at their bottom parts, engaging cylindrical bodies having through holes 10 into which the anchor pin bodies are inserted and with which the anchor pin bodies are engaged, retaining claw bodies 7 which comprise the engaging cylindrical parts as base parts and project plural claw parts 9 in a fan shape from the engaging cylindrical bodies and clip bodies 11 for fixing the anchor pin bodies to the retaining claw bodies. Rod-shaped bodies of the anchor pin bodies are inserted into the engaging cylindrical bodies of the retaining claw bodies and the claw parts of the retaining claw bodies are fixed to arbitrary positions in the axial direction of the plural pin bodies. The anchor pin bodies and the engaging cylindrical bodies of the retaining claw bodies are fixed to the chevron-shaped engaging parts at the head parts of the anchor pin bodies by the clip bodies.
