PURPOSE: A machine for peeling fruits is provided to directly determinate whether a fruit is adsorbed or not using a non-contact light sensor, and thus desorption of the fruit is prevented during peeling the fruit.CONSTITUTION: A fruit holder(403) adsorbs a fruit using a vacuum pump and a driving motor. A pressure sensor determines whether the fruit is properly adsorbed by the fruit holder or not. A cutter blade(404) peels the skin of the adsorbed fruit. A rotation unit(405) rotates the cutter blade for peeling the adsorbed fruit. A control unit(500) controls a rotation rate of the rotation unit and a rotation angle of the cutter blade of each section according to the shape of the adsorbed fruit. A cooling fan removes heat generated from the vacuum pump and the driving motor.
