<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal indwelling catheter which prevents infection from a catheter insertion site of a skin, wherein inner catheters of which the shape and the number is suitable for various objects can be selectively attached to one outer catheter placed in a subcutaneous tissue. <;P>;SOLUTION: The internal indwelling catheter is placed from outside of the body into an inner vessel, a duct of body fluid or an organ through the insertion site of the skin and the subcutaneous tissue. The internal indwelling catheter comprises an outer catheter and inner catheters which are inserted into the lumen of the outer catheter and engage the outer catheter so that they can be attached and detached. When the catheters are placed in a body, the inner catheters have length which enables accession to the vessel, the duct of body fluid or the organ, and the outer catheter has a length which enables placement of the tip thereof in the subcutaneous tissue. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
