A process for the production of an abuse-proofed solid dosage form containing at least one active ingredient with potential for abuse (A) and at least one binder, which is present at least 20 wt. % relative to the total weight of the dosage form, and has a breaking strength of greater than or equal to 500 N characterized in that a mixture comprising the active ingredient of the kind such as hereinbefore described, the binder of the kind such as hereinbefore described and optionally an auxiliary substance which is conventional for formulation of solid dosage forms, is exposed to ultrasound and force wherein the said dosage form as such exhibits a breaking strength of at least 500N.
