The present invention relates to a live attenuated African horsesickness virus, (family Reoviridae, genus Orbivirus), a method of producing and using such a virus, a vaccine and an immunisation kit including such a virus in which the genome of the virus has been altered such that the expression of the non-structural protein 4 (NS4) as a wild type or complete protein is eliminated.La présente invention concerne un virus de la peste équine vivant atténué, (famille Reoviridae, genre Orbivirus), un procédé de production et dutilisation dun tel virus, un vaccin et un kit dimmunisation comprenant un tel virus le génome du virus ayant été modifié de sorte que lexpression de la protéine non structurale 4 (NS4) sous forme de protéine de type sauvage ou complète est éliminée.
