The present invention provides for a biopsy guidance plate which can be placed on the skin surface and after selecting the slice on CT cross sectional image and the lesion for biopsy, one has to just select the appropriate tube present on the guidance plate and take the biopsy. The biopsy guidance plate is mounted with multiple small tubes of variable sizes. Few of the tubes can be arranged at angles, avoiding the need of manually drawing the angle for the biopsy trajectory. One has to just select the target site and the corresponding CT slice and select the exact tube that matches the angle of trajectory of the biopsy site selected by the performing physician and can do biopsy.
