Disclosed is a drug delivery device connector (400) for connection to a second connector. The connector comprises a container (410) having an open distal end. The open distal end includes a distal wall (418) and a sidewall including an inside surface which defines a fluid chamber for retaining fluids. An elongate tip (432) extends in a distal direction from the distal wall (418). The elongate tip (432) includes an opening which provides access to the chamber, an outside surface and a distal end. The outside surface includes an outer cross-section dimension of 0.1545 inches or less. The elongate tip (432) has a length in the range from 0.300 inches to above 0.500 inches measured from a distal end of the tip (432) to the distal wall (418).
