The present invention relates to an improved dental implant comprising a fixture (10), an abutment (20) and a screw (30). The fixture of the present invention comprises: a lower side unit which has a screw unit inserted into an alveolar bone； a middle unit (a gum coupling unit or a divergent unit) which is in contact with gums； and an upper side unit which has part or all thereof exposed to the gum and has a prosthesis coupled thereto. Particularly, a polygonal protrusion unit is provided in an upper part of the upper side unit protruding out of gums in the fixture, and a polygonal insertion unit having the polygonal protrusion unit inserted thereinto is formed on a lower part of the abutment coupled to the fixture. The fixture and the abutment are coupled at a location higher than a prosthesis margin to reduce a size or a volume of the fixture and make an implant strongly fixed to the alveolar bone.
