A prosthesis delivery device (10) and method are described herein. An elongate sheath (22) extends about a longitudinal axis, and a hub (24) is coupled to the sheath. A handle (32) is distal to the hub (24), and a connector assembly (40) is coupled to a proximal end of the handle. The connector assembly (40) is removably coupled to the hub (24), and the connector assembly (40) includes a longitudinal passageway (64) defined therein in communication with the longitudinal hub lumen. In one aspect, the connector assembly (40) includes a plurality of jaw elements (106A-106C), and an actuating ring (134) operable to move the jaw elements (106A-106C) between the attachment configuration where the jaw elements (106A-106C) are coupled to the hub (24), and the detachment configuration where the jaw elements (106A-106C) are radially displaced and decoupled from the hub (24) to remove a component from the sheath lumen (62).
