According to an embodiment of the present invention, a brace of the present invention comprises: a wire for straightening teeth； and a fixation part for fixing the wire onto a surface of the tooth. The wire can be a plate wire which has a plate-like shape produced by compressing a circular wire or a square wire. Since the wire comes in the form of the plate-like plate wire, it is possible to carry out appropriate straightening force to the tooth to be treated without using a bracket, and also to selectively adjust straightening orientation, thereby improving efficiency and accuracy of the orthodontic treatment.본 발명의 실시예에 따른 치아 교정기는, 치아의 교정을 위한 와이어(wire)； 및 상기 와이어를 치아의 표면에 고정시키는 고정부；를 포함하며, 상기 와이어는 원형 와이어 또는 각형 와이어를 압착하여 제조된 플레이트(plate) 형상의 플레이트 와이어일 수 있으며, 이러한 구성에 의해서, 와이어가 플레이트 형상의 플레이트 와이어로 마련됨으로써 브라켓을 사용하지 않고도 교정될 치아에 적절한 교정력을 제공할 수 있으면서도 교정의 방향성까지도 선택적으로 조절할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 치아 교정의 정확성 및 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
