A family of tibial prostheses sized for attachment to a proximal tibia isdescribed, and includes tibial prostheses each defining prosthesis peripherieswith a centroid, an anteroposterior axis, a posterior-medial distance, and aposterior-lateral distance. The prosthesis peripheries include: a smallperipherydefining the posterior-medial distance haying a small posterior-medial extentand the posterior-lateral distance haying a small posterior-lateral extent;and alarge periphery defining the posterior-medial distance having a largeposterior-medial extent larger than the small posterior-medial extent toexhibit aposterior-medial growth. The large periphery haying a large posterior-lateralextent larger than the small posterior-lateral extent to exhibit a posterior-lateralgrowth. The posterior-medial growth is larger than the posterior-lateralgrowth.
