According to an embodiment of the present invention, a drug injection device includes: a pistol-shaped casing unit including a driving space which has a predetermined width and is extended in a forward and backward direction to have a length longer than the predetermined width and a storage space which is arranged on the lower part of the rear end unit of the driving space to be adjacent to the driving space and has a width and length greater than that of the driving space； a driving unit which is installed on the driving unit and presses a drug cartridge inserted and installed in the front end unit of the driving space to discharge the drug from the drug cartridge； and a battery supplying power to the driving unit while being installed in the storage space. The driving unit includes: a moving rod which is arranged on the rear part of the drug cartridge and moves in forward and backward directions； a driven body including a driven gear unit which is penetrated by the moving rod, has screw threads formed the inner peripheral surface to form screw couplings with the screw threads formed on the outer peripheral surface of the moving rod, rotates to move the moving rod forward and backward； and a motor which is coupled to the driving body to rotate the driving body.
