PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a front wheel differential gear mechanism and a steering mechanism of front wheels to be properly disposed inside a transmission case in a paddy-field work machine.SOLUTION: A steering shaft 74 is disposed along a front wall part 10d of a transmission case 10 in a vertical direction, and a pinion gear 74a is provided in the lower part of the steering shaft 74. An operation shaft 76 for steering front wheels is disposed in a portion of a bottom part 10f of the transmission case 10 behind the pinion gear 74a in a vertical direction, and an operation gear 76a in the upper part of the operation shaft 76 is engaged with the pinion gear 74a. A front wheel differential gear mechanism 73 is disposed inside the transmission case 10 above the operation gear 76a so as to overlap with the operation gear 76a in a plane view, and a front wheel transmission shaft 79 extends right and left from the front wheel differential gear mechanism 73.
