PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening material excellent in transportability and installation property and capable of absorbing and following unevenness of an installation surface for the greening material in an area to undergo greening, and to provide a greening structure constituted of the greening materials.SOLUTION: A greening material 10 is composed of a flexible sheet 1 having recessed grooves 1a, an artificial base arranged on the sheet 1, and a plant layer 3 placed on the artificial base 2.
