PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve easiness in assembling work for a transmission case of a rice transplanter and increase a strength of component elements of the rice transplanter.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter of this invention is constituted such that a power from an engine 8 is changed through a hydraulic continuously variable transmission 24 and transmitted from an output shaft 58 of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission 24 to a PTO transmission shaft 62 and a travel transmission shaft 63 through a travel transmission shaft 60. Each of the shafts 58, 60, 62 and 63 is stored in a transmission case 9. The transmission case 9 is provided with a main body 9a having a deep depth and a shallow lid part 9b covering the main body part. Each of the shafts 58, 60, 62 and 63 is arranged under an attitude in which it crosses with the openings of the main body part 9a and the lid part 9b.
