PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursery tray comprising a plurality of connected cells with small volumes which is capable of suppressing entanglement of the roots within the cell and elongation delay of the main root.SOLUTION: A nursery tray T comprises a plurality of connected cylindrical cells 1 with an upper face opening 11 in which the volume of the cells 1 is 5 cm3 to 9.5 cm3, and the ratio D/A of the depth D to the upper face opening radius A is 2.6 to 4.0.
