The present invention related to methods of resolving a mixture of compounds of Formula Va and Vb； salts of a stereoisomer of tartaric acid and a compound of Formula Va or Vb； hydrochloric acid salts of a compound of Formula Va or Vb； said hydrochloric acid salts for use in a method of treatment, for example, of a 5-HT mediated disorder, for inducing satiety, for reducing food intake, for controlling eating, or for treating obesity； and use of said hydrochloric acid salts in the manufacture of a medicament for treatment of a 5-HT mediated disorder, for inducing satiety, for reducing food intake, for controlling eating, or for treating obesity.
