The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, treating and improving an allergic disease containing spiraea prunifolia extracts as an active ingredient. More specifically, spiraea prunifolia extracts of the present invention suppress granule secretion of mast cells and suppress secretion of cytokine related to inflammatory responses in the mast cells and keratinocytes. Also, the spiraea prunifolia extracts can induce cell proliferation and can exhibit an anti-allergic effect as a resource for being safely used for cells, thereby being effective as the active ingredient of the composition for prevention, improvement and treatment of the allergic disease. The pharmaceutical composition prevents and treats the allergic diseases which are selected at least one from a group composed of anaphylaxis, allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticarial, contact dermatitis and allergic dermatitis containing the spiraea prunifolia extracts as the active ingredient.본 발명은 조팝나무 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 알러지성 질환 예방, 치료 및 개선을 위한 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 본 발명의 조팝나무 추출물은 비만 세포의 과립 분비를 억제하고, 비만 세포 및 피부 각질세포에서 염증 반응과 관련된 사이토카인의 분비를 억제할 수 있음과 동시에, 세포 증식을 유도할 수 있어 세포에 대하여 안전하게 사용할 수 있는 자원으로서 항알러지 효과를 나타낼 수 있으므로, 알러지성 질환의 예방, 개선 및 치료용 조성물의 유효성분으로 효과적이다.
