Tissue collection device is to maximize the collection and retention of tissue specimens from the patient. The instrument is extended from the handle distally, and a handle having a flexible hollow catheter. Cytology brush is stored in the hollow portion at the distal end of the cannula, to stretch from the cannula by operation of the handle. The cytology brush comprises a cylindrical proximal brush, a cylindrical distal brush, and the proximal brush and the distal brush and separated longitudinally tissue collection gap. Bristles of each brush has a different material properties, and has a larger effective diameter than the cannula. In use, the tissue specimen is, in the bristles, and are accumulated in the tissue collection gap.
