Provided are an apparatus and method for measuring movement of cervical vertebra. The apparatus comprises: a sensing unit, a computing unit, a storage unit, and a determining unit. The sensing unit comprises at least one emission part (1) and at least one receiving part (2). One of the emission part (1) and the receiving part (2) is arranged to move along with a head of a user, while the other is arranged to be fixed relative to a body of the user. The emission part (1) emits a detection signal. The receiving part (2) receives the detection signal. The computing unit computes, according to the detection signal, a change in a distance between the emission part (1) and the receiving part (2) before and after the head of the user moves. The storage unit stores a mapping table indicating a correlation between the change in the distance and an angle of the user head movement. The determining unit queries the mapping table according to the change in the distance, so as to determine the angle of the user head movement.Linvention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour mesurer un mouvement de vertèbre cervicale.
