PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine in which arrangement of a scale part of a rotary encoder is properly set, and which can detect a tilt state of a drive mechanism part with high accuracy and can accurately perform forward/backward movement control of treatment elements.SOLUTION: A scale part 54b of a rotary encoder 54 detecting a tilt angle of a drive mechanism part 60 to a base part 53 slidingly contacts with a shaft that is the tilt center of the drive mechanism part 60, and when the drive mechanism part 60 tilts, movement related to the tilt of the scale part 54b is restricted by the shaft, and a degree of freedom of the movement is restricted to only a turn around the shaft, so that the scale part 54b tilting simultaneously with the tilt of the drive mechanism part 60 accurately tilts around the tilt center of the drive mechanism part 60. Even if coming into a state that another movement component is added to the tilt around the shaft of the drive mechanism part 60, such a change of the movement is not reflected in the scale part 54b, and the scale part 54b can tilt in a state that the scale part 54b maintains proper positional relation to a detection part 54a, and the tilt angle can be properly detected.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 ロータリエンコーダのスケール部の配置を適切に設定して、駆動機構部の傾動状態を高精度に検出でき、施療子の進退制御を正確に行えるマッサージ機を提供する。【解決手段】 ベース部53に対する駆動機構部60の傾動角度を検出するロータリエンコーダ54のスケール部54bが、駆動機構部60の傾動中心となる軸に摺接し、駆動機構部60が傾動する際に、スケール部54bがその傾動に係る動きを軸で拘束され、移動の自由度をこの軸周りの回動のみに制限されることで、駆動機構部60の傾動と同時に傾動するスケール部54bが、正確に駆動機構部60の傾動中心周りに傾動し、仮に、駆動機構部60の軸周りの傾動に他の動き成分が加わる状態になったとしても、そうした動きの変化がスケール部54bに反映されず、スケール部54bが検出部54aに対し適切な位置関係を維持して傾動でき、適切に傾動角度の検出を行える。【選択図】 図4
