The present invention is directed to compositions and uses thereof for treating hepatitis B virus infection. In particular, the present invention is directed to a combination therapy comprising the administration of an HBV capsid assembly inhibitor and a nucleoside or nucleotide analog for use in the treatment or prevention of patients with chronic hepatitis B.本発明は、Ｂ型肝炎ウイルス感染を治療するための組成物とその使用へ向けられる。特に、本発明は、慢性Ｂ型肝炎患者の治療又は予防に使用するための、ＨＢＶキャプシドアセンブリ阻害剤とヌクレオシド又はヌクレオチド類似体の投与を含んでなる併用療法（combination therapy）へ向けられる。
