Body for cultivation of a plant, comprising a growing medium. The body has alongitudinalaxis and an external surface defined by: an upper surface part a lowersurface part oppositeto the upper surface part an outer surface part and an inner surface partopposite to theouter surface part. In a first transition zone, one longitudinal side of theinner surface partfades into one longitudinal side of the outer surface part and, in a secondtransition zone, theother longitudinal side of the inner surface part fades into the otherlongitudinal side of theouter surface part. The body is transformable from a first shape into a secondshape. Viewedin a plane transverse to the longitudinal axis, the outline of the secondshape is determinedby the outer surface part. In the first shape, the body is unfolded such thatthe inner surfacepart is exposed to the surrounding. In the second shape, the body is folded upsuch that theinner surface part is folded up onto itself.
