PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air feeding device which can suppress the consumption of a gas when the gas is not fed into a lumen while maintaining an air feeding performance when the gas is fed into the lumen.
SOLUTION: This air feeding device 1 feeds a desired gas into the lumen such as the large intestine of a patient 14 through an air-feeding pipe 62 and air-feeding/water-feeding pipe 69 of an endoscope 6. The air feeding device 1 is equipped with a conduit resistance variable mechanism 33 which feeds the gas being fed from a gas cylinder 24 to the endoscope 6 by controlling the flow rate of the gas in such a manner that the flow rate of the gas per unit time, which is fed to the endoscope 6, may not exceed a specified flow rate.
