The present invention includes antibodies that specifically bind to human or cynomolgus LAG3 and antigen-binding fragments thereof and immunoglobulin chains thereof, and polynucleotides encoding the same, as well as injection devices comprising such antibodies or fragments. Vaccines comprising such antibodies and fragments, and compositions comprising such antibodies and fragments (eg, including anti-PD-1 antibodies) are also included in the invention. Also provided are methods of treating or preventing cancer or infectious diseases using such compositions. Methods for recombinant expression of the antibodies and fragments are also part of the present invention.
