PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-proof and mite repellent for clothing containing as an active ingredient, a perfume component having also a repellent effect to indoor dust mite jointly in addition to insect proof activity to a clothing pest.SOLUTION: An insect-proof and mite repellent for clothing contains 3-methyl-5-phenyl-1-pentanol, and further contains a carboxylic acid allyl ester compound as a mite repellent activity enhancing component.
