A suction-irrigation system (100) having a bi-lumen tip (120) respectively coupled to a suction unit (150) and a fluid delivery unit (160) for removing unwanted materials from a body cavity (170) and delivering fluids thereto is provided. The bi-lumen tip (120) has a perforated end for inserting the bi-lumen tip (120) into the body cavity (170) and a non-perforated end for coupling the bi-lumen tip (120) to the suction unit (150) and the fluid delivery unit (160). The bi-lumen tip (120) includes a drainage lumen (121) and a fluid delivery lumen (122) the two lumens (121, 122) are arranged in parallel and share a common lumen wall within the bi-lumen tip (120). The drainage lumen (121) is coupled to the suction unit (150), and has a first plurality of perforations (123) on its surface for the removal of unwanted materials from the body cavity (170). The fluid delivery lumen (122) is coupled to the fluid delivery unit (160) via optionally connecting through an adapter (130), and has a second plurality of perforations (124) on its surface for delivering the at least one fluid to the body cavity (170).
