PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new biological light composition for topical use which is useful for treatment of dermatosis, wound or the like, and light chemotherapy for rejuvenation of skin.SOLUTION: A biological light composition for topical use to a target tissue is given in which the composition contains a first xanthene dye and a second xanthene dye, 1-70% of emission spectrum of the first xanthene dye overlaps with absorption spectrum of the second xanthene dye, and the first and second xanthene dyes exist in the composition at a concentration of approximately 0.001-0.5% per weight of the composition. The combination of the first xanthene dye and the second xanthene dye is preferably a combination of eosin Y and fluorescein, eosin Y and rose bengal, or fluorescein and rose bengal.
