An inspecting apparatus(50) is provided which inspects whether or not a liquid absorbent particulate is deposited with a predetermined deposition pattern on an absorbent sheet-like member(1),the absorbent sheet-like member(1) having a continuous web(5) and a plurality of absorbent bodies(3),the continuous web(5) being transported along a transport direction, the absorbent bodies(3) being formed on one surface of the continuous web(5) in a spaced apart manner in the transport direction, each absorbent body(3) including the liquid absorbent particulate as a main material. The inspecting apparatus(50) includes: an imaging process section which is adapted to image, from one side of a surface of the absorbent sheet-like member(1), a region on the absorbent sheet-like member(1) where the absorbent body(3) is expected to exist, and that is adapted to produce data relating to a planar image of the region as planar image data of the absorbent body(3) an extracting process section which is adapted to extract a proper quantity region from the planar image by performing a binarization process on the produced planar image data based on a threshold value, the proper quantity region being an imaged region in which the liquid absorbent particulate is of a specified amount or more and a pass/fail determination process section that is adapted to perform a pass/fail determination process based on a value indicating a size of the proper quantity region.La présente invention concerne un appareil (50) qui inspecte si des particules absorbant le liquide sont ou non déposées selon un motif de dépôt prédéterminé sur un élément absorbant de type feuille (1), lélément absorbant de type feuille (1) ayant un réseau continu (5) et une pluralité de corps absorbants (3), le réseau continu (5) étant transporté dans une direction de transport, les corps absorbants (3) étant formés sur une surface du réseau continu (5) de manière espacée dans la direction de transport, chaque corps absorbant (3) comp
