FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be applied for radical surgical treatment of pilonidal cyst. Sacrococcygeal fascia is strengthened by application of continuous blanket suture on its fibres, application of sutures on wound edges. Puncture into skin and subcutaneous cellular tissue is made with needle with thread with 1.2 cm indent from wound edge, needle with tread is passed through wound bottom under fibres of sacrococcygesal fascia with applied on it continuous suture to the other side of wound and needle is pricked out through skin on the opposite side at distance 1.2 cm from wound edge, after that, needle is pricked in at distance 1.5 cm sideward from prick out and 0.3 cm from wound edge, needle with thread is passed through skin, subcutaneous fatty cellular tissue, fascia fibres under applied on them continuous suture, and through wound bottom, subcutaneous cellular tissue of the other side, pricked out through skin at distance 0.3 cm from wound edge and 1.5 cm sideward from the first prick in, then, needle with thread is pricked in at distance 1.5 cm sideward from prick out and 0.3 cm from wound edge, needle is passed back through subcutaneous cellular tissue, under applied on fascia continuous suture on the opposite side, prick out is made at distance 0.3 cm from wound edge and 1.5 cm from point of prick in parallel to wound edge, the following prick in is made at distance 1.2 cm from wound edge and 1.5 cm sideward from points of prick out, needle with thread is passed through skin and subcutaneous cellular tissue, through wound bottom under applied on fascia continuous suture on the other side of wound, and needle is pricked in through skin on the opposite side at distance 1.2 cm from wound edge and 1.5 cm from points of prick in, after that, sutures are tightened bringing wound edges close to each other and tied up.
